1. The service
FilingPulse provides programmatic access to data derived from public filings on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR system, normalized into a documented JSON schema and delivered via API and webhooks ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. Not investment advice
The Service is data infrastructure. Nothing provided through it — data, documentation, or any other output — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, a trading signal, or an offer or solicitation regarding any security. You are solely responsible for any decisions made using the data.
3. Data accuracy
Data is reproduced from EDGAR filings as filed. Filings may contain errors made by their filers; normalization may contain defects despite our testing. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Acceptable use
- Keep your API keys and webhook secrets confidential; you are responsible for activity under your keys.
- Respect published rate limits; do not attempt to circumvent metering or access controls.
- Do not use the Service in any unlawful manner or misrepresent FilingPulse data as originating from the SEC itself.
You may use retrieved data within your own products and services, including commercial ones. Wholesale redistribution of the Service's normalized dataset as a competing data product is not permitted during early access.
5. Subscriptions and early access
Free and paid tiers are open; paid tiers are billed monthly through Stripe at the prices published on our site, and you may cancel at any time (your key then continues on the free tier). The Service remains early-stage: service levels are not yet guaranteed and features may change, with material changes noted on the changelog.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilingPulse's total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim (during free early access: zero). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including trading losses.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We may suspend keys that violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Affiliate program
We operate an affiliate program under the terms published at filingpulse.io/affiliates.html (25% recurring commission for the first 12 months of referred subscriptions, quarterly payouts). Participation requires disclosure of the affiliate relationship wherever referral links are used and is subject to the conduct rules on that page; commissions accrue only on revenue actually collected and are forfeited for violations. The affiliate page's terms form part of these Terms for participating affiliates.
